Starfleet ATP has a non-standard ranking structure, as you can see on the Fleet Basics page.

Only the first 3 tiers of “ranks” are used for general fleet members, and they are designed to be “roles” rather than “ranks”.

New members begin at “Mentee” level. This is the introductory level, with limited access to Fleet Gear. New members are limited to prevent fleet jumpers/robbers, and because the fleet desires for you to preserve your resources, such as Dilithium, and not spend it in a less than optimal manner. Fleet Gear is often made available through temporary unlocking of the bank/store when low level members require the items; it is not the fleet’s goal to prevent access to gear, just to help guide new members optimally.

In order to earn a promotion to a higher role within the Fleet, a member must demonstrate acumen. Our goal is to spread knowledge and capability to players, and that guides our role structure. The following lists are no to be considered all-inclusive or exhaustive, nor do they guarantee promotion.

To reach Member (rank/role level 2) status, a Mentee must provide/understand the following:

  • Remain a fleet member for at least 2 weeks
  •

  • What Fleet Provisions are, how they are earned, and how to avoid draining the supply
  •

  • Where to find the free Admiralty cards/ship within the game
  •

  • The value and use of Exploration Clusters, including the Blue and Purple rarity DOffs that are available
  •

  • Bridge Officer power auto-firing
  •

  • Bridge Officer power cooldown methods
  •

  • Bridge Officer power purchase and selection, including removal of unnecessary powers and why key powers are important
  •

  • Basic builds, including Tactical console layouts, mixed damage types, choice of damage type, and the location of free in-game drops for budget builds
  •

  • The concepts of Cat1 and Cat2 damage
  •

  • Post a video capture of their sub-2 minute Japori Patrol (Normal) and sub-2.5 minute Starbase 234 (Normal) runs to the ATP Xbox club
